Maintaining the architectural integrity of this period home was a primary focus for both ourselves and the client. Working with the client we chose an elegant pattered tile to compliment the original lead light window which is the focus of the room. A large freestanding bath adds a contemporary and functional element for family use.

The inspiration for this bathroom came from our clients recent overseas holiday. The aim was to create a luxury hotel style bathroom at home. The vanity to ceiling mirror cabinets are a design feature from one of the hotels they stayed in. The custom made vanity includes touch activated motorised drawers that span the full width of the room. The impressive marble bench top is in line with the hotel theme. This luxurious space is further finished with heated towel rail and under tile heating.

The timeless herringbone tiling and contemporary marble waterfall vanity tops are a blend of old and new. Our client worked alongside the interior designer to transform this family bathroom. A soft neutral colour palette allow these two design features to flow harmoniously. Custom cabinetry provides ample storage and mirror mounted sconces bring a refined touch to a beautifully balanced room.

Our clients were a young couple expecting their first child. They required a space that included a bathroom, laundry, walk-in shower, storage cupboard and a freestanding bath. The challenge was to include all these in a limited space. We were able to achieve this by removing some internal walls. The result is a room that met their needs in a functional and stylish way using subway tiles to give a relevant nod to the architectural style of the home.
